Bredesen Trained Practitioner

I am a certified nutrition therapist practitioner and natural foods chef who implements the Bredesen protocol. This is a multi-pronged approach that focuses on removing exposure triggers that lead to cognitive decline, optimizing health support and rebuilding the neural network.
In 2010 I helped people cook for weight loss at my company, The Cutting Board. I used targeted nutrient dense foods, developed individualized meal plans and provided nutrition education to various audiences. With the surge of diabetes, autoimmune diseases and Alzheimer disease affecting millions of people each year, my focus turned to both prevention and addressing these diseases.
Key areas I cover are: weight loss, fat burning, addressing insulin sensitivity, optimizing nutrient, hormone and growth factor support, reducing inflammation, treating pathogens, and optimizing sleep. I supports my patients by addressing the diet, primarily through eating an anti-inflammatory diet, including intermittent fasting and foods to support brain and gut health. Lifestyle topics such as exercise, stress management, brain stimulation and optimizing sleep are also covered.
